The Factory at Corktown has been awarded a 2021 AIA MI Honor Award
“The elegant renovation of these 100+ year-old warehouse buildings preserves and exposes the original architectural elements -brick walls, wood trusses, and hardwood floors – while creating a warm, modern interior. The jury appreciated the design team’s strategy of seamlessly integrating old and new, including the use of steel windows, industrial railings, and a steel canopy at the ground for entries.” ~Judges Comment
