Seeking an attainable residential community solution in Colorado’s Vail Valley, the developer teamed with MPA to design viable market rate housing. Named Siena Lake, the nearly 600-unit project site in Gypsum, Colorado recently broke ground. It comprises detached single-family homes as well as multi-level townhomes. Recreational parks and trails are interspersed throughout the development, with a lake and clubhouse in the center.
Planned for modular construction, the homes of Siena Lake are designed for the active mountain lifestyle and outdoor living year round. The mountain modern architecture with composed rooflines complements the stunning natural setting while large windows take advantage of dramatic views of the surrounding mountains. Each home is uniquely positioned within the development’s hilly terrain with native plantings. Open floor plans flow to the outdoors with decks and patios for outdoor living year round. All homes feature first floor master suites, attached 2-car garages, and unfinished basements.
The development’s landscape design builds on the legacy of the land and character of Eagle Valley with special attention to the regional ecology for water savings and fire safety.
