McIntosh Poris Architects was commissioned to design this 13,000 square foot classic French chateau style home set on over 3.5 sprawling acres in the heart of Bloomfield Hills. MPA collaborated with interior designer Dan Clancy on the interiors. The estate features a grand entrance procession down a tree-lined driveway and motorcourt leading to presentation of the grand chateau. Narrow windows with Juliet balconies punctuate the symmetrical stone façade, and a slate roof completes the palette. Surrounded by formal landscaping that enhances its exclusive and private ambiance, this meticulously styled residence is ideal for both indoor and outdoor gatherings.
The plan of the home is designed for formal living. From the stunning entryway with its spiraling decorative stair to the carefully thought-out sequence of formal living spaces, the home is an entertainer’s dream. The 5-bedroom, 8 bath home boasts sumptuous decorative details and amenities inside and out. The first-floor primary suite features a private terrace and large custom closet with mirrored dressing area. A kitchen with bespoke cabinetry and butler pantry, four-car garage, elevator, and walk out basement are additional amenities.
